I understand that our(Tristan & I) blog pictures are not of the highest quality but we always click them before or after heading to work, and really do not want to lug a HUMONGOUS DSLR while travelling to and fro work. We have been using a small Panasonic Lumix camera + his Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for our recent posts and Tristan has been editting them using Line camera on his cell phone, hoping that it would make up for the poorer picture quality by giving them a slightly different feel. =)

Actually, dragging along a hugeass camera was the primary reason why we stopped blogging for over half a year. Once again, THANK YOU, thanks for staying with us all these while. We truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. I talked to Tristan about starting this blog last year bacause I realised I tend to forget ensembles I put together. I wanted to catalogue styles and combinations that I love and what could be easier then a simple blog log? We are thankful to have you on this journey with us. =)

Hi all! =)

The key piece of my outfit today is undeniably the printed silk top I had on. It is one of my favourite pieces to reach for whenever I want to feel good (literally). I am a HUGE fan of silk tops and this piece makes me feel so free every time I put it on! The comfort level is beyond amazing.

This is another top I picked up while shopping with Q (we love digging for stuff together) and she hated it at first sight. LOL!!! I ALWAYS remind her of that. Now, she insists that it has grown on her and she loves it on me. Talk about eating her words. *runs away and hides from Q*

Seriously, I am always surprised at the amount of compliments this top gets every single time I don it. I didn't think it is a piece that most people would like because it looks a tad old fashioned in a way. But boy, am I pleasantly surprised! I thought only my parents would appreciate its beauty. Ooops. =X

I'm off to shower and head to bed. Tristan has work tomorrow and he is still recovering from a bad cold! Here's hoping I don't get it! *fingers, toes and eyes crossed*

Hi Everyone!

I hope your week is treating you well. =) As my family and close friends know, I spend ALOT on the alteration of clothes that I see myself wearing for years to come. Half the time, I spend more on the alterations than the actual piece of clothing itself. However, I have decided that I will not be doing any alterations on this particular top though I really love the colours, collar and entire style of it.

Due to the large size, the top is loose towards the bottom as it flares out due to the gathers in front of the chest area. So... I will just wear it tucked in! Problem solved. I refuse to change the billowing style of this top. It is exactly how I wanted it to look and I am sure it will not have looked the same had it been a size S! I snatched up this top the minute I laid eyes on it while shopping with Q. It really reminded me of a Chloe top that I love but did not get in 2012! I can still remember exactly how that top looked. Hmmmmmmm.

On a sidenote, Tristan, Nic, Geena and I just returned from a short weekend getaway to Genting, Malaysia and it was surely a break we all needed. It was also a chance for us to pull out our dusty blazers and sweaters from the back of our closets (Goodness knows we seldom or never get to wear them in humid Singapore!). I will post up some outfit pictures on my coming off day on Thursday!

May is surely the month of weddings these couple of years. Last year's May 12th was Tristan and my special day. =) And this year, four of my friends are exchanging their vows. =D Both couples, Pearline & Anthony (11th May) and Bryan & Allison (18th May), have dated for several years and I REALLY, REALLY cannot wait for their special days. I'm an absolute sucker for the exchanging of wedding vows. I swear nothing gets me tearing like those. I am so excited!!! I will be doing the 2nd reading for Bryan & Allison's wedding and I pray I don't mess up! =X

I'm very happy to introduce QQ to everyone on TheClassyfied today! =) Q is responsible for taking many of my blog posts pictures and is also one of my favourite people to shop with. She loves neutrals (that has got to be the greatest understatement ever). She adores colours like baby pink, pale yellow, cream, ivory, white, beige and nude. A HUGE chunk of her wardrobe, bags and shoes comprises of such colours. =O She just can't stop buying fashion apparels in neutrals! Is anyone of you like her?

Q is the ultimate girly girl. She is forever clad in skirts and dresses, and on the very very very rare occasion a pair of leggings or shorts. Q has a pear shaped figure and she understands her body very well. She is particular about the fit of her clothes and does not hesitate to spend on alterations. This enables her to conceal her flaws and enhance the positive. I'll bet you can't tell she is bottom heavy from the pictures! She shares that the right length of skirt makes a world of a difference in the way she looks.

TheClassyfied really hopes to showcase more women with different body shapes and fashion sense. Besides sharing my day to day outfits, I also hope that we can learn from one another and journey together. If you would like to share, please do drop me an email! =D

Happy Saturday everyone! This has to be my favourite pair of jeans ever! 100% cotton. Nothing beats THAT. I wanted to feel really relax and comfortable today, and nothing compares to a pair of worn, slouchy bf jeans (except shorts maybe). How did you find YOUR perfect pair of boyfriend jeans? Or are you still on the hunt?
