Lipstick - Revlon Just Bitten Kissable in Rendezvous

Hi Everyone!

I hope your week is going well! Bright colourful prints always makes me happy and this floral dress is no different. Mommy and I picked it out together on one of our shopping trips and we both love the drop waist style and neckline of it. I'm especially happy with the fact that this dress has pockets. =) A classic bag and a pair of complementing pumps completes this outfit!

What are your thoughts on floral prints? Do you like or dislike them? I look forward to your emails!

XOXO!!

p.s. Thank you for all the emails with comments on my posts. =) I might not reply them all but I do read each and every one of them!

Hi Everyone, =)

I hope you all had a great start to the week! I have some good news to share today. Mommy just surprised Tristan and I with air tickets to Sydney in September!! =D

Tristan is super happy because it will be right after his final exams and his reservist in August. As for me, I count my blessings amidst the excitement. What did I ever do to deserve my parents? I really don't know. I am a married woman of coming 29 years young, and my parents still look after me as if I'm their little girl, giving me support and encouragement whenever I feel down or discouraged, making sure I have food when I work late, asking if I am taking enough supplements and vitamins etc. They still bother surprising me with tickets to a holiday that I mentioned I was looking at with Tristan! I am feeling very overwhelmed while typing this out. Thank you, God. Thank you for giving me the best parents I could ever ask for.

Have an awesome week and God bless!

XOXO!!!

p.s. Will be posting up pics of Bryan's and Allison's wedding soon!! =D Working full day tomorrow, it's 10.21pm, and Tristan & I have yet to have dinner. I'm off to cook now! Good night and sweet dreams...

p.s.2. Enjoy your honeymoon tomorrow! Bring us back some Maldives sand! =P

:: Strawberries & Cream :: Horizontal striped shift dress

Dress - Cotton Express (found at F.O.S Genting on recent trip)
Belt - Chloe (Old. Its very long and I had to weave it quite abit to form a pattern of sort)
Shoes - Charles & Keith (Old)
Bag - Chloe Louise in Bear (one of my favourite bags ever!)

Hello Everyone!

This was the outfit I wore to work on our 1st year wedding anniversary. I know I know! I should have taken a day off but due to the weddings of 2 sets good friends in this month, I'm really strapped for day offs! I find it all very worth it though! There will be more anniversaries to come but their weddings would only happen just once. =D

Back to the outfit.. most ladies usually shy away from wearing hozontal stripes, thinking it will make us look fatter. Rightly so. However, I realized that with the right cut, dresses and tops with horizontal stripes can look great. A belt would also help, of course!

The high boat neckline of this shift dress makes my shoulders look alil broader than usual. This helps to balance out the rest of my torso and the belt cinched at the waist makes me look both slimmer and taller.

I look forward to wearing this dress again without a belt and I sure hope it will look good too! Thanks to those who complimented me when I wore this. **smooches** You sure made my day (though I had to work)! =P

TGIF and have a smashing weekend!

XOXO!!!

p.s. Really looking forward to Bryan & Allison's wedding on Saturday! Afterall, I have known Bryan since we were kids and have watched him grow into a man alongside my baby brother, Chris. =) He HAS always been there whenever I need a friend and brother. I am so very glad to be a part of their wedding celebration!

:: 12.05.12 :: The day I married the love of my life and my best friend.

Below are some of our pre-wedding shots and we hope you will enjoy them! =)

The card that Tristan made for me to commemorate our 1st wedding anniversary! =D =D =D

Today marks the 1st anniversary of the day I married the second most wonderful man in the world (second to only my Daddy) but the most amazing husband I could ever find for myself.

Tristan and I dated for over 7 years before finally tying the knot on 12th May last year. We have been through so much together. Birthdays, deaths, weddings, the birth of new lives and losing people we love and treasure. Looking back, I often wonder what I did to deserve him. He epitomizes all that defines love. In fact, one of our wedding mass readings was specially picked out by me because it was Tristan in words. It is a reading from St. Paul to the Corinthians and it has always called out to me.

Love is always patient and kind, it is never jealous;
love is never boastful or conceited;
it is never rude or selfish;
it does not take offense, and is not resentful.

Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth;
it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope,
and to endure whatever comes.
Love does not come to an end.

My husband loves me when I'm not lovable. He loves me when I'm being unreasonable. He loves me even when I find it difficult to love myself. Besides the unconditional love my parents has always given to me, I have never really held out hope that someone else could love me the way he does. Afterall, like any other girl out there, I have been hurt before. I have always dreamed about having what my parents share but I know how difficult it is to meet that special someone that would fit me to a T. But God bestowed him on me and for that, I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have found my other half, my matching jigsaw piece. Thank you, God.

To my husband:
I love you, Darling. I look forward to spending every day of the rest of our lives together with you. Like what you always promise me, I will love you more with each day that passes and I will love you even after death do us part. Thank you for entering and staying in my life. Thank you for loving me so much.
